The Harvest Hills Hub put on another great Makers Market this year! Look at all the beautiful items from all the creatives in this area! It was really special to hear about the inspiration and the stories behind lots of these creations.

Huggabowl, a mobile kitchen, was also at the Market. Huggabowl is a really great non-profit social initiative that aims to address food insecurity. When you buy a bowl of soup, you have the chance to buy a token for a second bowl of soup which you can keep for yourself or donate a meal to someone else in need! 2024 Summerfest Olympics Edition in Calgary!

With all the smoke and 30+ weather in the weeks leading up to the first Summerfest Olympics, we lucked out with perfect temperature and clean air!

It was a great turn out and the kids had so much fun competing in their Olympic events. The Opening Ceremonies featured an impressive cheer demonstration from the Renegade Cheer group (check out their website HERE) and, later on in the afternoon, the adults competed in a very funny egg-toss game!
