Kelowna Engagement Photographer | Quail's Gate Winery Surprise Marriage Proposal!

This was such an exciting session: a surprise marriage proposal!

The stakes were high: I was supposed to approach the couple and say I was building my portfolio and needed to take some photos of couples and ask if they’d be interested in having some photos done.

I was waiting outside in the area where A said they would be and I felt a moment of panic when a couple walked right past me. A had said that M was wearing a green dress and the woman who had walked by me was wearing a green dress! Had I missed them? Should I go after them? Why had the man completely ignored me?

But then the real couple showed up at the spot a few minutes later. Phew!

She said yes!

This was such an exciting and fun shoot! And look at that gorgeous ring!

Edmonton Lifestyle Photographer | All the Furbabies!

This at home family lifestyle session was so cute!

All these furbabies are rescues with such distinct personalities and striking looks.  Little Maggie's underbite and her protruding teeth are so adorable.  Miss Zoe was born deaf and her loving humans taught her sign language to communicate!  You can see how attentively she looks at them.  Sweet Scotty has one eye that is part white, part brown and part blue!  He paid special attention to me!

You can see Maggie and Scotty looking over when Zoe is getting a kiss with an expression of "Hey, where are our kisses?"  And Mojo, the cat, checking out the situation and deciding that this was not for her!

It was so sweet to see how the furbabies wanted to be as close to their parents as possible all the time.  I love the personality of pets so much.
